Business Development Manager

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will perform Business Development and Lease Management functions.

Job Responsibilities

Business Development

  1. Monitors the day-to-day tasks of the Asst. Manager for BusDev and Operations, Asst. Manager for BusDev., Partners Management Officer, and Business Development Support Staff.
  2. Proactively identifies new business opportunities to expand the current OOH inventories of the company.
  3. Ensures that the database of partner suppliers is frequently updated and new partners are added regularly.
  4. Prepares the Business Plan for new inventories to be introduced by the company.
  5. Prepares the yearly Business Development Plans and Strategies and executes them.
  6. Provides direction, and guidance to the department to ensure alignment with the Company’s strategies.
  7. Monitors government OOH projects where Outcomm can participate in the bidding of the projects.
  8. Monitors activities of competitors.
  9. Recommends to Sales Department locations or new inventories for selling to media agencies and direct clients.
  10. Turnovers to the Sales Department the sales kit of the new inventories for selling.
  11. Trains the Account Executives on how to sell the new inventories.


Lease Management

  1. Oversees sites and lease management with a focus on the renewal of lease agreements.
  2. Identifies locations for new inventories.
  3. Prepares financial viability of new sites being proposed.
  4. Coordinates with other departments in the delivery of the new inventory.
  5. Works hand in hand with Legal and Compliance in ensuring necessary permits are acquired.
  6. Works hand in hand with Engineering and Maintenance in ensuring the structural soundness of all new site/s and inventories.
  7. Ensures maintenance of Sites Database.
  8. Ensures that site concerns are appropriately handled.
  9. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field.
  2. At least 3 years experience in doing Business Development. Must have proven experience working as Business Development Officer or a similar role. OOH experience will be a definite advantage.
  3. Experience in Business Development preferably in OOH industry.
  4. Ability to effectively research new markets.
  5. Creativity and problem-solving skills.
  6. Good written and oral communication skills.
  7. Analytical and detail-oriented.
  8. Strong negotiation skills.
  9. Good business acumen.
  10. Ability to prepare a business plan and recommend to management new business opportunities.
  11. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
